35年程前に生で観るまでは、目立たない堅実なプレイヤーという印象だった。
間近でのその硬質ゴム的鬼タイトなグルーヴにやられた。
“タイトすぎて沈んで聴こえてたんだ！”
後に一緒に演奏できた事は一生の宝です💐

Until I saw him live about 35 years ago, I had the impression that he was an inconspicuous, solid player. 
I was blown away by his hard rubber-like, super tight groove up close. 
"It was so tight that it sounded like it was sinking!" 
I will cherish the experience of playing with him afterwards💐
